VIBRATION

For applications like material handling, when high vibration forces, complex motion profiles and programmability are needed, our patented linear motor can provide a simple, effective solution.

MATERIAL TESTING

The use of the CLD motor to compress liquids and gases eliminates the need for rotary-to-linear conversion. Its programmability allows the compression and exhaust stroke to be profiled. Through a controller motion profile, you can operate the compression stroke and the exhaust cycle at different velocities. Our system is great for this level of project-specific motion profiling.

MULTI AXIS MOTION CONTROL

Many applications in the motion control industry require high speed, high force motion. For example, when used for vertical drilling, packaging and material testing, the California Linear Devices motor can be driven by one axis from a third-party multi-axis controller. We have qualified our motor for use with most of the leading controllers.

The operation of large steam, fluid or gas valves often requires a high linear force actuator and precise control. Our tubular linear motor can meet this demanding combination of requirements with only one moving part, greatly increasing reliability in these demanding applications.
